A lot of Martu together with Martu elders have spoken about how important it is for future generations to keep holding on firmly to their language and keeping it strong.
KJ recently searched for and found a small amount of funding for a language program.  The language program will help future generations of Martu to keep language strong.
The language program is a Martu program. KJ’s applied linguist Duke (Garry Earl-Spurr) and a lot of Martu are taking together about the priorities of the new language program with the aim to keep language strong for future generations.
