Martu treasures return to country

KJ’s cultural heritage program has collected and produced a rich audiovisual heritage of films and recordings of Martu people. Michael and Gabrielle/The CEO and the Chair of the National Film and Sound Archive recently visited Martu country to sign an agreement with KJ to digitise and preserve this collection in their Canberra archive facility. The partnership also means that NFSA will support and help develop KJ’s ongoing archival work with more exchange visits to come in the future.
