Parnngurr rangers out on country looking after waterholes

Fragile waterholes are being wrecked by feral camels in the far east Pilbara.

There are 1,118 waterholes in the far east Pilbara, ranging from small shallow holes or deep and secret pools amongst the rocky ranges.

"Waterholes are the fabric of life in the desert biologically and culturally," says Dr Eddie Game the lead scientist with The Nature Conservancy.
