The Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet (PM&C) provides assistance to KJ through the Working on Country Program, the Indigenous Heritage Program and the Indigenous Protected Area Program.  Under the Working on Country Program, KJ is contracted to provide a range of environmental and cultural management services to the Australian Government.  PM&C also provided, through the then FAHCSIA, funds to help renovate the Newman office.

Lotterywest have been long term supporters of KJ.  They have provided funding to KJ, assisting in the early years with the development of the return to country program and more recently with the fit-out of the Newman office

The Shire of East Pilbara has supported the distribution of the Community Access Library for Martu in Newman. The Shire also manages Martumili Artists which is an NGO partner of KJ.

Social Ventures Australia (SVA) assists with the management of the WA Government’s Social Enterprise Fund through the Department of Communities.  SVA also undertook a baseline social return on investment study in 2011 on the impact of KJ’s on-country programs

World Vision Australia and KJ work in partnership on the Leadership program.  The program aims to ensure positive and sustainable social outcomes for the Martu through a leadership program that builds governance and leadership competencies including: communication skills, knowledge of legal and government processes and frameworks and opportunities for those involved to develop strategies to address challenges identified in Martu communities.
