During 2014 and 2015 a number of women rangers undertook training units in Certificate 1 Conservation Land Management (CLM).  Leah Robinson was one of the first Martu ladies to complete this level of training.

During the second half of 2016 another opportunity was created for the other women rangers to complete their Certificate 1 training. This opportunity has allowed for another three ladies to successfully complete their certificate 1 in CLM. Some of their training included weed management (buffel grass), use of brush cutters, use of chemicals for weed removal, working in a safe environment, maintaining a safe workplace and OHS issues, basic fencing and garden skills.

The Parnngurr men and women rangers have also completed firearms training and medivac training during the second half of the year.
