THE OPPORTUNITY
KJ is seeking an experienced manager to lead our Logistics and Infrastructure team in Newman.
This is a practical, organisation-wide role responsible for the systems and services that help KJ's programs operate effectively across Newman and remote Martu communities.
The role combines hands-on operational leadership with systems improvement. You will help strengthen the way KJ manages stock, fleet, infrastructure assets and day-to-day logistics while building more consistent and effective ways of working across the organisation.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Lead KJ's Logistics and Infrastructure team.
Strengthen purchasing, stock control and asset management.
Oversee fleet and infrastructure systems.
Improve procedures, documentation and operational processes.
Solve practical problems across competing operational priorities.
Work closely with program and corporate teams to ensure they have the systems and support they need.
ABOUT YOU
This role could suit an established Logistics Manager, an experienced people leader with a strong background in improving systems and processes, or someone who brings a combination of both.
You will need to:
be a capable and practical people leader;
be confident improving systems and processes;
manage competing operational priorities;
solve problems calmly and practically;
build strong relationships across different teams; and
be comfortable working in a remote and geographically dispersed operating environment.
LOCATION AND CONDITIONS
Location: Newman
Travel: Travel to remote Martu communities
Salary: $120,000–$140,000 + super
